Why We Built This Site
Nebraska permits public access to many court records, but access depends on the court, record type, and any confidentiality rule. A docket is the running event record for a case. Holt County Court handles traffic, misdemeanors, probate, small claims, and many civil matters, while Holt District Court handles the district-level matters described by state law. JUSTICE supplies the statewide search layer, but it does not replace a clerk request for a certified copy or a record that is unavailable online.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket routes: how criminal docket searches and civil docket searches differ in Holt County
- Hearing checks: how to use court dates and confirm a setting with the court
- Case lookup: how to use Nebraska case lookup by party name or case number
- Copy requests: how court record search and certification requests reach the proper clerk
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site, with no connection to a Nebraska court, court clerk, or state agency. Its limits are important:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now
Only the clerk or trial court that holds a Holt County case can issue an official or certified docket or court record. The source record must come from that office.
Search Partners
Some content pages include a search box provided by an outside company. That provider sets its own service, price, terms, and results. A paid signup through the tool may produce a referral fee that supports the resource. The official Nebraska Judicial Branch and Nebraska.gov links remain the sources for court information and clerk contacts.
